If you are here to learn more about gift certificates, then you must be expecting a little one in your family or community-of-friends soon! Congratulations! I'm so grateful that they have your support in helping make this an even more amazing experience.
Gift certificates may be purchased in any amount using PayPal or Venmo. Certificates can be delivered via email or mail to you or the parents. In many cases the gift-giver might want to have the certificate to present to the family in person, such as at a baby shower. If these parents-to-be are already my clients, I'm happy to deliver the gift by hand - as I love any excuse to visit on my clients!
If you're the parents-to be, you can sign a contract with me and pay my initial retainer fee to schedule my services. Your friends + family may then purchase a gift certificate in any amount, and if the entire birth/postpartum doula or placenta encapsulation package is covered, then the retainer is returned to the parents. Gifts must be purchased by the 37th week of the pregnancy, as the parents will pay any remaining balance at that point. The gift card will include the giver's name, gift purchased (i.e. birth doula support) + any personal notes, but the gift amount is not stated except at your request.
